Can you believe it’s already February?! I sure can’t Valentine’s Day is already next week which means my birthday is just around the corner! So, I am not a huge Valentine’s Day fan, I actually think it is kind of silly. However, it does give me the perfect excuse to bake and wear some red and pink. So let’s talk about the clothes first.
I’ve never been a big rule follower when it comes to fashion- I wear too many accessories and like mixing pieces and patterns too much! However, Labor Day seemed like the perfect day to rock a white dress. To be honest, I think the whole no white after Labor Day rule is a little antiquated. Especially with the emergence of the winter white trend that has become so popular the last couple of years. If cutting out white at the end of the summer is your thing, well you do you and more power to you! But for me, I’m going to keep rocking what little white I own. I hope y’all have had a wonderful Labor Day and an excellent long weekend. I would love to hear your thoughts on the no white after Labor Day rule so be sure to comment below! XO
Downtown Greenville, South Carolina is one of my favorite places and conveniently, my sister goes to school in Greenville so I get to visit quite often. Greenville itself is a beautiful town, but over the past 10 years or so, they have redone the downtown area so it is pedestrian friendly, there are a bunch of delicious, local restaurants, nice parks, and some cute hopes to look through. All in all an incredible place to spend time! Oh, also, that pop of color on my bag…well I wrapped a scarf around the strap. I absolutely love doing this because it gives a fun, vintage feel to any bag or outfit as well as adding a little extra color. XO
