Farmer’s Market and Summer Hair

Farmer's Market and Summer Hair

Hello! I feel like I’ve been gone for so long! It probably doesn’t feel like that for y’all, but the backend of the blog was down all last week and I had all of these great plans, that obviously didn’t happen. Anyways… today I have two fun things to talk about: my new favorite weekend activity and how I am helping my hair survive summer in the city.

Farmer's Market and Summer Hair

Since my move, I now live within walking distance of a fabulous farmer’s market. My new favorite thing to do on Sunday mornings has been to go to the farmer’s market every Sunday morning and wander around and pick out yummy fruits and veggies for the upcoming week. This is such a fun way to support the local community while also buying healthy groceries for the week.

Farmer's Market and Summer Hair

The other summer thing I have been dealing with is summer hair. With walking around the city so much, having my hair down has become absolutely miserable. So, I wear it up almost every day. But, as y’all probably know, this is not great for your hair and my hair has been nothing if not angry this summer. BUT my friends at Maple Holistic sent me some of their new apple cider vinegar shampoo to try out. This stuff has been amazing! It has really helped my hair get back to normal after a summer of buns. Plus, I love Maple Holistic products because they always smell amazing and they have a cool program where you can send your empty bottles back and get credit for free shampoo! Anyways, this is definitely something to try if your hair is begging summer to end.

Until next time,

XO T
