Layering with different color combinations and textures is one of my favorite things, but I also love layering with textures. This outfit was basically my layered textured dream. First, my shoes are suede…one word about these shoes. I got them for Christmas and they are weather proof! I am so obsessed with them because I can wear them for any occasion and they are so comfortable.

Then, I am wearing my favorite burgundy cords. They are the perfect way to add a little color and a little warmth to an outfit. I love wearing anything burgundy with pale pink. It is by far my favorite color combination, no matter what time of year it is.

But, back to the textures. Chambray is another great way to add a little texture and color. I always wear mine like any other button-down. I love wearing a chambray under a sweater or tucked into a skirt. Wearing it under a thick knit weave sweater like this is such a great wave to highlight the chambray and also show off your sweater.

My final touch of texture was these fabulous pom pom earrings. At first this outfit looks a little boring in comparison to some of my other looks, but sometimes, it isn’t the colors or sparkles that make an outfit interesting. Until next time…
