Ok guys, unpopular opinion coming up! I am not a huge fan of AC… I know that sounds crazy, but here me out. Sure, its nice when you first walk in from 90 degrees plus humidity into a nice room with AC. But, five minutes later, I’m freezing my butt off and I have to be inside for the rest of the day!

Unless I’m going to the pool or doing something outside, most of the summer I spend inside an office or a classroom with full blast AC. And summer clothes are just not going to cut it!

So, for my summer wardrobe that means I have to do some finagling. Here are some of the few tricks that I use to keep from freezing all summer long.

1. First of all, I never leave my house without a cardigan…ever. I always have one stuffed in my bag or hiding in my car. And it does not go to waste. I pull it out every time I go inside.

2. Secondly, when I’m going out to dinner or something where I know I’m going to be inside for a while, I dress accordingly. That means for dinner I either wear a dress/ skirt and bring my trusty sweater. Or wear a cute blouse, jeans, and heels.

On this day, I was museum hopping with my family. I wore this flannel with shorts and sandals during the day and easily transitioned to jeans and wedges for dinner. Super easy AND I was not miserable and chilly all night at dinner!
