Monday Catch-Up March 1

Hello! I’m back! With a whole new plan and lots of ideas for the blog. And all of that is starting today with a Monday catch-up! So, here we go and comment with what you are reading, watching, and listening to!

Watching – WandaVision

Have you guys been watching WandaVision on Disney+? It is good and completely different from anything else I’ve seen on TV lately. One thing I will say, if you are not caught up on the Marvel Universe movies, there will definitely be some confusing moments so consider catching up on the movies first!

Listening – PunchBowl News

If you are a fan of Politico Playbook or any quick overview of the news that is still very informative, you will love this. The three creators left Politico after many years to start PunchBowl and between their daily morning podcast and the newsletters throughout the day, they have everything DC news you could ever want. This is definitely one of my new go-to news sources and I highly recommend you check it out.

Reading – Charles Manson Biography

I love non-fiction, especially biographies. I just recently picked up this Charles Manson biography, Manson: the Life and Times of Charles Manson by Jeff Guinn. Obviously I knew who Manson was, but I didn’t know a lot about the lead up to the Tate and LaBianca murders. I’m a little over halfway through the book and it is absolutely fascinating. There are definitely some gore-y details about the actual murders, but it is not too overwhelmingly gross. I would definitely recommend this one if you are interested.

Now last, but not least is the Golden Globes last night. Truthfully, I did not watch it and I normally don’t care too much for award shows, especially when there is a distinct lack of diversity and some shows I really enjoyed were snubbed. HOWEVER, I love seeing everyone dressed up so here are a few of my favorite looks (I did not take any of these photos and they were all available in the public domain). Did you guys watch it? What did you think?
