Burgundy and Polka Dots
Hello all! Happy Friday! It has been a crazy week for me as I have so much coming up here on the blog that I have been working on and planning. If you aren’t already signed up for our newsletter, make sure to do that to receive a first look of what is coming up every week and exclusive style content.
As I have unpacked my summer wardrobe over the last few weeks, I was so excited to see pastels and lots of girly details. However, the one thing my summer wardrobe seemed to be seriously lacking was pattern of any kind.
Sure, there was lots of color and a few stripes here and there, but that was really it! Everything else was solid. Now, my winter wardrobe definitely doesn’t have that problem. Normally I have a hard time relegating my outfit to only one or two patterns!
Clearly this needed to be rectified immediately as I have been craving patterns over the last couple of days. Not to worry though, it seems as though the rest of the fashion world felt the same. As soon as I went on the search for pattern, it was everywhere!
This skirt is just one of the new additions to my wardrobe and it is definitely one of the tamer ones. But, as someone who’s neckline comfort level is a turtleneck, I love how long and flowy this skirt is.
Lately, whenever I shop for something, I am looking for a piece that I can wear to work, but also make casual. This skirt fits that bill perfectly as it looks awesome with a t-shirt, but could easily be paired with a blouse and heels.
Lots to come this weekend so stay tuned on here and on my instagram! Until next time…
