What I Read in June 2022

Since 2019, I have had a reading goal of 50 books during the year. And to be honest, I haven’t been anywhere close. I was closest in 2019 when I read 34 out of my 50 books, but 2020 and 2021 were both a bust with 22/50 and 30/50 respectively.

This year though, I’ve been doing so much better! As of today (July 14th), I’ve read 24 out of 50 books and feeling so accomplished already! I know for some, 50 will seem like an unachievable number and for others, you have already read 50. Whatever your number is though, just having a goal at all can be incredibly motivating. I started using Good Reads to keep track of my progress. They have a fun yearly challenge option so it keeps track of your progress every year and you can easily share it with your friends/family if you have a competitive side.

This yearly book challenge all started because I saw other bloggers sharing their recent reads in similar posts and I enjoyed seeing what other people were reading and what they thought. There are so many incredible books out there these days that it can be hard to narrow things down without a little help. And there is nothing like someone else’s review to sell you on a book.

With that said, 50 books in one post seems a little much so I’m going to break it down by month. I’m still going to have individual book reviews as I’m clearly reading, but it has been very challenging transitioning from finishing a book to finally blogging about it. Hopefully this will help me with that and also give y’all some good book ideas as well!

I’m also including my ratings here although I will have other posts with my full review coming up!
