Hello lovelies! I can’t believe it has been so long, but I am so excited to be back. I can’t even tell you how happy I am to be back blogging and using my creative juices.

I have this thing (and I’m sure many of you do too) where I fixate on a certain style, pattern, color, or item of clothing for periods of time. I try and incorporate it into every outfit without even thinking about it. Of course, in the winter, it is usually turtlenecks. The past couple of months though, I’ve been feeling completely uninspired by my wardrobe and my clothes.

But summer is here, and I have two new fixations! The first is these platform, cut-out, oxfords. Normally, as you may have noticed, platform shoes are not really my style. They feel so clunky to me, but when I saw these shoes, I fell in love. I haven’t yet had the chance to romp around the city in them, but I can’t wait to wear them all this summer.

My bigger obsession though, and probably my go-to look for this summer is gingham. I just found this flowy gingham top that is perfect for sunny days and it seems like gingham is everywhere right now. I love it because it feels like such a classic pattern and it has a fun summer vibe that will spice up any outfit. Plus, there is nothing like a good pattern for summer when it is too hot to worry too much about your outfit.
