Stonehenge and Bath

Stonehenge was appropriately fogging when we arrived

Who knew that sheep love Stonehenge too?!

Roman Baths and the Bath Cathedral in the back

I was very tempted to take a dip in the warm waters 🙂

Hello all! Yesterday was our day trip to Stonehenge and Bath and man was it fun! We started with the two hour car trip to Stonehenge, which I was asleep for the entirety of 🙂 Upon arrival, Stonehenge was appropriately fogging and majestic. It was very cool to see a stone formation that we still don’t understand how it was constructed. I was so impressed with the magnitude of this sight! Sheep are also apparently very impressed with Stonehenge as well because there were quite a few of them. They were also willing to pose for pictures! From Stonehenge, we made our way to the city of Bath where we toured the Roman Baths. The Baths were very cool although, I’m not sure how clean that spring water was! However, we did get to try the spring water, which is supposed to have healing properties so maybe it will cure my cold! From the Baths,  I explored the Cathedral right next door, which was beautiful. We then wandered around Bath for a little while before beginning our trek home. This was a fabulous day trip and definitely doable if you are visiting London! Today was slightly more laid back with a trip to Borough Market for more homemade pasta,  Southwark Cathedral, and checking out the Botticelli at the National Gallery! Of course, I also made time for nap time 🙂 I don’t know what kind of adventures await me tomorrow, but hopefully it is as sunny and beautiful as it was today! XO
