Neon Highlighter

So remember this look from last week? Well I completely understand how that could be a little aggressive for a lot of you in daily life. But I have an alternative for you so you can still rock the neon if you want to!

This look is honestly so easy and would be easy to adjust for work or for fun. With this thick sweater, you only get a hint of my neon pink sweater below. You could easily trade in the sweater for a blazer, leather jacker, or jean jacket depending on what you are up to and the weather.

For pants, I would stick to a darker neutral like these dark wash jeans or maybe black pants or a dark skirt. If you are trying to tone down a neon, you don’t need to worry about adding pizzazz with your other pieces. Keep it simple and for fall/ winter I would stick to a darker color pallet.

The one place you can definitely add some more color/ snazzy stuff is with accessories. This clutch is the perfect example because it is mostly neutral, but still has that little touch of pink to tie everything together.

The final touch for this outfit for me was the shoes. I love adding a little touch of edge to an otherwise girly outfit and heeled combat boots were the perfect thing. Something like this just keeps a hot pink outfit from being too girly and gives it a surprising edge.
