Homemade Pita Chips

So as I mentioned yesterday,  Mom and I made pita chips from scratch! They were fabulous and so easy!

Herb Pita Chips
2 garlic cloves, minced
6 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. fresh thyme of 2 tsp dried
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
4 pita breads, white/ whole wheat

This recipe does not have to be exact at all so add as much as you want or don’t want. Also, I would recommend whole wheat pita bread because it worked better and had a better flavor than the white pita bread!

Preheat oven to 350

Adding thyme 

Cut pita into 5 strips (approximate) with scissors. Snip end of each strip and separate to make 2 single layer strips. Place pita strips split side up in a single layer on baking sheets.

Stir garlic into oil and brush pita chips. Sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.

Bake until crisp and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Cool.
