Hello my darlings! I know, I am officially the worst about blogging but I am back and I’m going to try to be better! In exciting news, the website was having some issues but now is back to normal, so at least I can post now! I had talked about doing a giant round up of all of the red carpet looks so far from 2019, but I was not impressed with any of the looks from last night’s Grammy’s so I’ve decided to just skip it and to go back to regular programming.

So I am obviously back in DC and let me tell you, winter is here haha! I am all about the layers right now and I’ve been wearing a lot of hats to stay warm! But, I finally invested in long underwear and I have no regrets. Maybe a little nerdy but it means that I can wear all of my fun flowy pants that aren’t always the warmest.

As we know, I’ve never been able to say no to a flowy pant which definitely gets me in trouble. While I am not short, flowy pants can definitely overwhelm me sometimes so I always try and wear a little heel and keep the top half of my outfit fitted.

I am so in love with these pictures because it was about 15 degrees outside when we took them, but we went into the Botanical Gardens which were very warm!

I feel a little like a slacker because I’ve already lived in DC for six months and I have not done near as much exploring as I should have. But I am trying to be better. The Botanical Gardens were a spur of the moment idea but I adored them and I can’t wait to go back!

Hopefully I will have even more time to explore in 2019 and more opportunities to wear tons of flowy pants! Until next time, XO
