Chambray is one of my favorite materials because it is so versatile. In it’s simplest form, you can just wear it as a button-down with jeans of a different shade or tucked into a skirt. It is a nice alternative to a white button-down which can get a little boring sometimes.

As much as I love a chambray as a simple shirt, my favorite way to wear them is as a second layer. Over a t-shirt as a cardigan or tied over a turtleneck, a chambray adds that extra pop of cool and gives you another layer of warmth.

The only problem is every time I wear a chambray with red lipstick, I feel like Rosie the Riveter…Halloween 2018?? Until next time…
