Hello all! I am sorry I was a little MIA last week, but my best friend Kate was here to visit and I am a firm believer that people are more important than computers! But not to worry, I will have a whole post later this week about all we got up to you, plus some big news coming!

More on that later, but for now, let’s talk about this crazy weather. I don’t know about y’all but I am definitely over this cold, windy, rainy days and ready for some sunshine! Since Mother Nature hasn’t been cooperating with me, I’ve been making my own with my outfits.

This coat is perfect for that. Even when the rest of my outfit is pretty light with lots of pastels, there is nothing like a neon pink coat to really brighten up a look. I love that this coat is a statement piece because I feel like it is so easy to just throw on a black coat and be done with it.

It is so easy to forget that a coat doesn’t have to be just a functional piece. It is just as much a part of your outfit as anything else! And it is a great way to add a little color to an otherwise grey and dark winter. Until next time…
