Mixing patterns is so fun, but sometimes it is fun to go overboard with one pattern or material. Lace is one of my favorite things to wear because it is classic but ultra feminine.

Normally whenever I see lace, it is in small details on an otherwise non-lacy piece. I love that both of these pieces are almost entirely lace.

This top has been a staple statement piece for me for the last few years. I love the color and the juxtaposition of the lace against the feathers. It doesn’t quite fit the way I want it to anymore, but I still love to pull it out every so often.

Now that I have been dressing up for work everyday, I have found a new appreciation for dress pants. When I saw these all lace ones, I just knew I had to have them. So take an otherwise masculine piece, dress pants, and make them ultra-feminine, which I adore. Plus they are incredibly comfortable.

Around my birthday, I always try and incorporate some of my favorite things into outfits in new ways. This week it has been all about pink and feminine details and this outfit hit right on the mark! Until next time…
