While I love that we have all of the season here in North Carolina, I have a love/hate relationship with our weather. The past few days it has been absolutely beautiful here. I mean 70 degrees, warm wind, and sunny. While I have loved the warmth, it is just going to be that much harder when it inevitably gets cold again. However, I am trying to enjoy this glimpse of spring while I can!

I love this kind of weather because it is warm enough that I can enjoy being outside, but also cool enough that I can layer a little bit. My mom just gave me this sweater vest and purse as an early birthday present and I am already obsessed. The vest is not super thick, but is oh so cozy and perfect for layering a tee under or a sun dress this summer. Plus it is my favorite shade of pink.

Surprisingly, I think I am more excited about this purse than the sweater. I have been looking for a new statement bag, but I wanted it to be a neutral. I love that this purse is black, because I don’t have very many black bags. Plus, with the red peaking out, the black is the perfect contrast.

I was a little hesitant at first about the round shape, but it actually holds a surprisingly large amount of stuff and doesn’t get too heavy. And it has given me a fabulous excuse to use my furry pom-pom!
