Hello! Happy Friday! How was your week been? Mine has seemed to be busy with all of the traveling, but these last couple of days have been very nice and relaxing. Plus, as I’m sure all of you on the east coast are experiencing, it was nice and warm today!

I will be the first to admit that trying a new color combination is scary. But, I have a couple tips to make sure you can experiment with colors in your own wardrobe! First thing before you do anything though, is make sure you look good in the colors. I love yellow and orange, but they are not great colors for me so even if I want to mix them, I typically avoid them. That way, I know that I whatever I am wearing will actually look good on me.

Once you have figured out what colors look good on you, the next step is deciding what colors to mix. I always find this easier when I am obsessed with the colors. Burgundy and pink are my two favorite colors in general so mixing them has always seemed like an easy transition.

This can all seem rather daunting, but the thing I have found most helpful is actually seeing your clothes. This year instead of organizing my closet by style then by color, I just organized by color. I have found so many new combinations! No matter how you do it, sometimes mixing up how your closet is organized is just what your wardrobe needs. Until next time, XO
