Boho Pink Ruffles
Hello all…happy Tuesday! This week has already been crazy and it’s only going to get busier. But, I like staying busy, so it’s good for me. It’s also going to be good for you because I have had tons of great blogging ideas already that I’m hopefully going to be implementing in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned for those! I’m already so excited!
One of the things that I love about North Carolina is our crazy weather. Two weeks ago it was in the 90s, but a good portion of last week barely made it into the 80s. Although it is kind of hard to prepare for, the nice part about varying weather is it means I can experiment with outfits.
This look for example. I would typically only wear this hat in the fall and the winter because it was felt. But, I needed a little something extra against the wind and this outfit kind of fell into place. That is something that I love about fashion. Sometimes, the least planned outfits, but the ones that just happen turn out to be the best ones.
Although I love this top, I’ve had a surprisingly difficult time integrating it into my wardrobe. It is a thicker fabric, which is great because you obviously can’t wear an outer layer with the ruffled sleeves. I’ve struggled though to find the right bottom combination and jewelry. I like how the dark jeans and darker necklace both pop against the top and make it look more pink than a slightly darker skin tone.
Lots of great outfit and lifestyle posts to come this weeks so make sure to stay tuned! Until next time, XO
